ERCOFTAC

The JM Burgers centre is the Dutch Pilot Centre for ERCOFTAC

The name is an acronym for European Research Community On Flow, Turbulence And Combustion. The goal of this organisation is to be the leading European association of research, education and industry groups in the technology of flow, turbulence and combustion. ERCOFTAC Members participate in a network of international collaboration and exchange between industry and research. They have access to data banks with a multitude of experimental, DNS and LES data and specified test cases. They receive, through the ERCOFTAC network, support in preparing proposals for European Community research and training programmes. These are two of the many advantages of being an ERCOFTAC member.
